Executive Mentoring

Small Steps, Big Changes

Executive Mentoring? Most people in life come across or choose mentors by accident, or because they notice something in that individual that could help them grow as a person and professionally.

My first mentor had a massive and extremely positive influence on my life and career. His knowledge, his professional skills, his introducing and developing me into my role, his support in the same as my career moved forward, his calm but direct approach to issues and most of all his ability to listen before he spoke together with his empathic approach when needed, were invaluable to my own personal development.

Inspired by my own positive experiences of being mentored plus the wealth of business experience I have gained working as a Managing Director running my own companies as well as working for a large international group as a Director, I have myself gone on to successfully mentor many senior professionals across various industries.

This has included individuals working within organisations turning over billions of pounds as well as individuals running or heading up SME’s.

In my role as a mentor, I work as a confidant, sounding board, supportive listener, guide and tutor.  I work with people on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, we establish together, based on needs, what time frame is necessary to achieve the desired results. This could be 3 months, 6 months a year, or ongoing.

Issues I deal with include:

  • Career satisfaction
  • Professional development
  • Critical life transitions
  • Personal growth
  • Creating executive presence
  • Strategic
  • Becoming comfortable in a new role
  • Keeping work life in balance
  • Navigating corporate politics
  • Improving leadership qualities
  • Boardroom presence
